Disha Shah

I am the Owner of Velocity Physical Therapy, an outpatient clinic based in the beautiful city of Saratoga, California. I am a California licensed Physical Therapist, and I have had the privilege of serving patients in an Outpatient clinical setting for over 12 years now.

My journey as a Physical Therapist has been nothing short of incredible. I have completed a year-long Manual Therapy course at Kaiser. I also hold an MT-1 certification from Maitland, which has equipped me with advanced skills in joint mobilization and manipulation.

One of my greatest passions is Yoga, and as a certified Yoga instructor, I have found ways to integrate this ancient practice into Physical Therapy.

I completed my Bachelors and Masters in physical therapy (2014, Musculoskeletal conditions) from India. I worked with a variety of patients and clinical settings while in India and have been practicing in San Jose since past 2 years.

​

My interest in anatomy motivated me to pursue physical therapy as a profession. Patient interactions and witnessing the joy on their face upon returning to their favorite activities pain free is the best part of my job.

During my off time I love spending time with my family and friends, watching movies and dancing.
